We are truly a blessed family. Each and every one of you helped all of us more than you could know last night, it was a very inspiring day for my son, daughter and me to see how many people Gina's life touched. The outpouring of support turned the most difficult day of my life into a celebration OF LIFE!

Words cannot express the AMAZING show of love and support for Gina and her family. I can honestly say there were well over 1,000 people from 4pm to 9pm who came to Gina's wake. Thanks to all who waited in (what I heard) was a line that wrapped around the lobby and parked in other parking lots to pay their respect.

I am extremely grateful for Gina's friends and family, her parents friends and family, Gina's brother's friends, our son (Brett's) friends and teachers, Mallory's friends and family, and my friends and family.

To all our friends and family, it breaks my heart to say Gina passed away this morning.
She put up an incredible fight over the last two years.
I'll collect my thought and write more later, but thank you all for your support and kindness over the years.

Hello everybody, so we passed the six week mark on Friday. Gina is sleeping almost all day and evening now. For the most part, she has stopped eating and has started to hallucinate and have conversations with people who are not. In the room.

Thankfully, she is not in any pain. Instead, she is very peaceful and relaxed.

There is not much else to write at this time, more to come in the next week.

Thanks again to everyone for their love and support over the last two years and throughout Gina's lifetime.

Gina has been home (at her parents house) and comfortable for the last two weeks. Brett and I have been lucky enough to stay at her parents house and spend all of our time with Gina. The Hospice nurses are a gift to our family with their caring and sensitivity.

She is holding her own and we have been able to relax and reminisce over the wonderful 18 years her and I had.

As a matter of fact, we have reviewed over 5500 pictures we have collected over our life together.

I cannot express how lucky I am to have been part of Gina's life as long as I have. She has taught me patience, love, understanding and joy with her extremely positive outlook and attitude.

Thanks to all of Gina's parents friends and family (as well as my family) for the delicious meals provided which allow us to focus our energy, attention and efforts on Gina.

Gina's going to be released from the hospital tomorrow, infections are (mostly) cleared up to the best they can at this point.
She has been set up with Hospice at her parents house.
We (Gina, Brett, her family and I) appreciate all of your support, comments and well wishes throughout her two year fight.
She is requesting only immediate family visits at this time, flowers aren't necessary...just prayers.
